Sensitivity for History

The area of Rappahannock and the surrounding Piedmont is steeped in American history dating to the 1700s when Lord Fairfax was first granted land by the Crown.  With such historic surroundings and varied building stock it is natural we have first hand experience working with historic structures.  Our longevity in the construction business means we've encountered numerous eras of building methodologies, materials and varying degrees of condition.

Joseph Keyser Construction has consistently been called upon by discerning individuals to sensitively restore their homes and buildings, in some cases working closely with Architectural Historians.
