Joseph "Joe" Keyser Construction Inc., is a custom builder with over two decades of experience in a variety of construction methods.

His fundamental knowledge of engineering and practical experience in the field allow him to build some of the most sophisticated designs.

Joe has had a lifelong interest in the building trades, thanks in part to a heritage dating back to his great grandfather, a successful building contractor. Growing up in Clifton, Virginia Joe started by working summers and after school as an apprentice in stone masonry and carpentry.

He then received his B.S. degree at Colorado State University, with a major in Mechanical Engineering. Joe began his professional career as a field engineer for Charles E. Smith Construction, Inc. of Arlington, Va., one of the leading developers of office space in the Washington D.C. area.

His career in residential construction began as a Project Superintendent, first building custom residences in McLean, Va. and later renovating and building a premier estate in Rappahannock County, Va. Joseph Keyser Construction Inc. of Washington, Va. has been building custom residences in Rappahannock County and surrounding areas since 1994.

Joe enjoys good relationships with all of his former clients, some of whom, have become his personal friends. Joe is married to a kindergarten teacher and has two children. Joe’s interests include the study of architecture, and environmental preservation issues.
